After many years of being in the background making his first appearance on the LP"Black in Time" with M.C.J.X. in the year 1990 and his most recent appearance on the Gold selling LP "MomentOf Truth", by GangStarr, Elijah Shabazz brings his work to the forefront. The artist/activist releases his second classic CD single which promises to be a collectors item as his music continues to  break on the National and International market. The Maxi Single is entitled "Addiction: The Streetz Are Calling For Me" and has tracks produced by hip-hop veteran Barry Bee of the legendary "Get FrteshCrew" and up & coming producer Sir Kay.

In addition to Elijah's music career he is also a community activist.  Elijah has been the sponsor and Chief Instructor of the Jr. F.O.I. Manhood Training Program based in Harlem.  He also does prison ministry at the youth Facility in Newark, New Jersey, where he counsels the young men there and performs live for them.  Elijah has been given the Congressional award for outstanding and invaluable work inthe community for the year 2004.
